An abstract must be submitted for every presentation, including for invited, sponsor, and panel discussion presentations.
An abstract may be submitted for a talk, poster, or both. Presentation types and slots will be awarded at the discretion of the organizers.
Abstract Submission Instructions and Guidelines:
Note: you may save your work as a draft at any time during the submission process. Please review all fields carefully before you click Submit at the bottom of the submission page, as information cannot be updated after submission.
If you have previously registered for a Whova account, log in with your existing credentials. If not, please create a free account. If you stay logged into Whova, you will not have re-enter your login details in order to continue working on a draft submission.
Complete the different fields of the Abstract Submission form, adhering to character limits, where applicable. All fields marked with * are compulsory.
Click Save Draft at any point if you wish to add additional information or edit any field before submitting.
Only click Submit once you have reviewed all fields for completion and accuracy.
Kindly note:
It is the responsibility of the person who submits the abstract to ensure that the abstract has been approved by all co-authors and that all co-authors have given their permission to present the work at the SFA²F 2026 meeting.
An abstract should preferably be submitted by the presenting author, as the biographical details requested during the submission process will be associated with the abstract in the conference App and materials. If you are submitting on behalf of someone else, please provide the biographical details of the presenting author.
The Biography field is not mandatory, but you are encouraged to complete this. Any information entered here will pull through to your attendee profile in the Whova App for this meeting. You will be able to update your biography in the Whova App once the meeting page has been shared with registered attendees (a few days prior to the start of the meeting).
Character limits, where indicated, are inclusive of punctuation, spaces, and paragraph breaks.
Please contact the organizers on info@sfafmeeting.org if you need assistance with abstract submission.
